Doing what’s right for Australia

There’s a small billboard at the Kelvin Grove fiveways with a Liberal logo on it and the words “Doing what’s right for Australia”. Couldn’t see an authorisation. Someone has to be setting the Liberals up, aren’t they?????? At least they don’t spell “right” with a capital “R”.

  2. Hi Barry. Sorry, irony doesn’t travel well on the ‘net. It’s a stupid theme and is probably an own goal. I didn’t seriously think anyone had set them up.
Your image appears to be of the Queensland Liberal Party’s site. The theme doesn’t appear on the Federal party’s site. However, there is a link on the Queensland site to http://www.nsw.liberal.org.au/images/stories/doingwhatsright/doingwhatsright.html, which as you can tell is on the New South Wales site.
Looks like the wheels have pretty well fallen off the Liberals. This is the sort of thing you get when people are desperate. Because the official strategy isn’t working, people start running their own strategies, which only makes things worse because the campaign looks even more disorganised and ineffective than it did in the first place.
