		<description>True pop is a big issue,If the World spent more on education than they do on arms,then educated people as we all know have fewer offspring.Even with 3 children per family the pop falls due to death rates.
There is a bigger issue in my mind ie, that of liberty.We are losing our freedoms under all modes of contrived issues such as terrorism and exaggerated environmental concerns.
Who gave the G20 the right to run a &quot;New World Order&quot;? What about the rest of the planet? Will we as individuals be able to vote on G20 issues?
Were we asked to vote on this carbon tax? Kevin Rudd&#039;s answer is ,&quot;Well you voted for me and thus I have the right to force through my agenda&#039;s.&quot;
A carbon tax will force more industries to close here and locate in China or India,who will just ignore our stupid carbon ponzi scheme anyway and keep burning fossil fuels.
If they really believe that CO2 is the problem here,then why not stop selling coal to China and keep it in the ground?
Whoha!The Corporates who mine the stuff(and Govt) want to sell it and make money dealing in carbon derivatives via taxing the consumer.They can have two bites of the cherry.

		<description>The difference now is the 7 billion plus people on the planet, intensely interdependent for their livlihoods and daily bread, many living in highly vulnerable areas (tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, disease).
The chances of these changes to climate occurring without political disaster are nil. The chances of us intervening politically to address these problems is just above zero, but it&#039;s why I keep on about it.

		<description>Fuuny Rhonda,I&#039;ve been on this planet for 57 yrs and just 2 km from where I live now, I remember long hot summers far more oppressive than what I experience now.I remember 7 days at a time of temp above 102 deg F or 40 deg C.
In the great warming periods of 1300-1500 they were growing grapes in what we experience now as snow.Then came the little ice age which killed millions.
Going back millions of yrs ago when CO2 was 12 to 18 times the present levels,the planet experienced ice ages.
You need to get things into perspective and look at the longer historical reality.
Carbon trading is all about the Corporates/Govt trading in new derivatives,in which the tax payer funds a new false messiah.
