<description>Q&amp;A and Patrick. The issue is not that climate changes, but of the influence of CO2.The science is far from proven.Sea ice is melting in the polar regions but the Antartic remains constant. There are hundreds if not thousands of scientists who are not convinced, while the religious true believers cling to their powerbase of scaring the rest of us into submission.
It is almost as bad as George Bush shouting the terrorists are coming to get us.The only real terrorists were the economic ones in their own midst!
I suspect that some of our environmental alarmists are economic terrorists is disguise.$50 billion has been given to the scientific community already, and that buys a lot of belief.
They are already justifying it in the terms of precaution being the course of action, even though the computer modelling has no chance of representing reality. We cannot get a world economy right. What chance have we of understanding the complexities of climate?

<description>When a &quot;professor of ethics&quot; thinks that honesty and decency is splitting hairs, the way ahead is a bumpy road.

<description>Talk about obsessive - try doing that in 350.
Ok, so it&#039;s OT, but you&#039;re not even talking the science - you should try walking it.

		<description>Dear Graham,
If you think this helps your cause you are too far gone. As Hamilton says, you response is hairsplitting of the highest order. You expend an extraordinary number of words making some relatively minor distinctions. Not suprising though as this is the climate change denier&#039;s MO.
cheers
Patrick.
