Hold on, Graham – Telstra is a helluva lot worse!
When my last business changed premises’ to a new site, we notified Telstra months in advance of our requirements – and still had to wait a week after we moved in, for cable to be laid at the new spot.
Optus might be the lesser of two evils.

I won’t subject you to the horrors I’ve endured with Optus. Suffice to say, I’ve shown them the back door.
Good luck with Telstra however… I suspect you’ll not be much better off.
